Sharon earned a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from California State University, Long Beach, and holds an Early Childhood Special Education Credential and has been advanced to candidacy for a Master’s Degree in Human Development. Sharon began providing early intervention services for infants 30 years ago through the F.I.N.D. program for Inland Regional Center through California Department of Developmental Services. Since that time she has helped develop standards for the Early Start Program in California, provided training at the Early Start CSPD Statewide Institutes, and developed the program design for Great Steps Ahead. “I can’t remember when I wasn’t serving infants and families. My life has been filled with the richness of personal relationships and professional growth throughout my entire career.”
